Congratulations to our 2022 Graduate Scholarship Recipient
Melissa Weiner
Melissa Weiner is a Master of Science in Strategic HR Management student at Saint Joseph’s University! She is from Vienna, Virginia, and currently works on the Employee Services side of the Office of Human Resources at the United States Environmental Protection Agency, which she has had the privilege of being a part of the team there for the last two years. Before beginning her HR career, she graduated from Christopher Newport University, in Newport News, Virginia, with a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
During her time at CNU, she was employed in the Office of Admission as a Student Ambassador. This position that involved recruiting, interviewing, and influencing student retention really sparked her interest and led to her to choosing a career in HR. Upon the completion of her Masters degree at SJU in Fall 2022, she hopes to delve further into government HR and have the ability to learn and take part in as many different parts of HR as possible!
