Undergraduate Winner

Kelly Schuehler

Kelly is from Collingswood New Jersey, where she graduated from Collingswood High School in 2017. Kelly has just finished up her junior year at Cabrini University where she is majoring in Human Resource Management and minoring in Accounting. Kelly has been awarded dean’s list every semester, along with being inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society, and the Delta Alpha Phi Honor Society. Last summer she studied abroad in Northern Ireland and attended Ulsters University in Londonderry, where Kelly studied Irish heritage. This spring semester Kelly had completed her first internship with Recovery Centers of America, where she worked as a Human Resource intern at their corporate office. Kelly started a summer internship with Radian Group Inc. in Philadelphia where she is helping to work with their inclusion and diversity program. At Cabrini Kelly has been a member of the Women’s Swim Team since her freshman year. Her team has brought home the conference championship for the past three years, along with Kelly’s own individual podium accomplishments. On the team, Kelly acts as one of the captains along with acting as one of the two representatives for the swim team on Cabrini’s Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Kelly hopes to graduate and be successful working in Human Resources and cannot wait to see where her future career brings her.

Graduate Winner

Marianne Retif

Marianne Retif, PHR, SHRM-CP, is a Human Resource Business Partner at PhaseBio with progressive HR experience in the Life Sciences industry. In this role, Marianne drives the strategic vision of the HR function including organizational and leadership development, employee relations, and performance management. Marianne brings strategic leadership and project management to critical HR initiatives. She has experience supporting all talent management, organizational design and organizational alignment activities. Marianne uses her experience with building relationships across organizations and business know-how to drive change and bring results.

She is also a graduate student at Penn State University. She is this year’s winner of the graduate scholarship which she will use towards her degree in Human Resources and Employment Relations. Marianne hopes to make a difference in every organization she is in, utilizing the full power of her HR knowledge to make and leave her workplaces a better place to work.
