List your academic & human resources-related professional achievements during the time you have been enrolled in your current degree program. Be sure to include all SHRM student activities and volunteerism in the HR field. List all activities you feel are pertinent.

PART 3: Essays

Essays will be evaluated for the applicant’s ability to articulate an answer completely and thoughtfully to each question, as well as the ability to demonstrate experience and/or classroom learning which would enhance the applicant’s candidacy for future HR roles. Keep each of your essays to no more than one single-spaced page. Provide your opinion, and support for that opinion, on the following topics: ESSAY QUESTION #1. What are the top three skills/concepts that you feel are critical to the success of HR teams? Describe what is needed for these skills/concepts to be successfully executed in the eyes of companies, employees, and leadership. ESSAY QUESTION #2. What is the most important trend you see shaping HR Management? Explain your choice and the impact you foresee this trend having in the next five years.
