Make a difference by donating an item ... proceeds will go to Ranch Hope, Inc.
Ranch Hope, Inc. was founded in 1964 by Rev. David Bailey and his wife Eileen. Ranch Hope consists of a Residential Treatment Center, which treats teenage boys and girls with emotional and behavioral problems. The Alloway campus has the capacity to serve 57 boys and our Victory House program (in Williamstown) has the capacity to serve up to 12 girls. Strang School at our Alloway campus is a regionally accredited special education school for grades 4-12 in which children in our residential treatment program as well as day students from other school districts attend.
Shelter of Hope (an alternative youth shelter) provides services for boys and girls referred by Salem and Gloucester county family courts or children referred by Child Protective Services from throughout southern New Jersey. We also offer outplacement counseling services to the public at a variety of locations within southern New Jersey. Ranch Hope operates Camp Edge in Alloway which host a variety of summer camp programs, is also utilized for retreats, and offers a high and low Ropes Adventure Course for a wide variety of groups.
As an organization, SHRM has always been very active with various charitable organizations and encourages volunteerism from its members. In keeping with that tradition, 100% of the proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to a local charity, with a different one to be selected each year. Previous charities include Support Center for Child Advocates, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Philadelphia Futures, Gaudenzia, The Bridge, Child, Inc. and Chester County Futures.
